Community Standards

Dizzy is for everyone. To ensure that everyone feels welcome and safe, we require all users to follow these standards.

Be Kind

• All kinds of people are building on Dizzy.
• Offer support, ask questions, share ideas, and provide constructive feedback.
• Do not be mean or sarcastic about someone's skills or project. Report bullying or spam.
• Comments, posts, or chats that violate this standard will be removed; offending users may receive warnings or removal.

Keep it appropriate

• Content that makes others uncomfortable (swearing, nudity, violence, graphic content) is not allowed.
• Violations will be removed and creators may be warned or banned.

No bullying

• We do not tolerate targeting people or groups for any reason.
• Hate speech and abusive content will be removed and offending users banned (appeal details below).

No advertising or spamming

Please don't advertise or spam links in comments or posts unless you have explicit permission from the post author. Repeat offenders may be banned.

No illegal or regulated content

Do not promote or engage in illegal activity (drugs, sex, gambling, weapons, pirated software, etc.).

Don't misuse the service

• Do not share spam, malware, phishing, or resource-hungry apps (spam bots, miners).
• Making multiple copies of the same Dizzy to run in parallel is considered misuse.

Age

Dizzy is available only to users aged 13 and above (COPPA). Users believed to be under 13 will be temporarily banned and may appeal by providing proof of age.

Some other things to remember

• Plagiarism: Give credit and don't plagiarize code. Shout out creators whose ideas helped you.
• Homework help: Prefer general tips, pointers, and minor debugging over complete answers to assignments.
• Automated actions: Don't create bots to comment, run, like, or follow without permission.
• Licensing: Check licenses when importing code from GitHub — you may need the author's permission unless the license allows reuse.
• Comment spam: Avoid mentioning users unnecessarily or spamming them.

Our Community Standards are based in part on Dizzy’s Terms of Service, a more detailed legal document everyone must follow when using the site.
